How to join Future Edition

Who it is for
Students in Grades 3–8 (a separate K–2 version also exists).
What you do
Two teams share one field. Each team plays four roles — Driver, Operator, Technician and Specialist — using LEGO Education Computer Science & AI hardware, and presents an innovation project and its engineering design to judges.
Commitment
Regular team sessions through the season, with extra practice before events.
What you need
No experience needed. Our rookies prepare with a 48-card self-study pack we wrote for this edition.
Costs
Team registration, kit and event fees apply. Ask us for this season's amount.

Why play both editions?

Future Edition uses different hardware, a shared field and four fixed roles — a genuinely new way to play FLL. Entering it in its first season gives more students a seat on a team, and means we can help other Sydney schools start Future Edition teams next year with what we learn.
